Botox treatment is becoming increasingly popular among ladies in their 40s and 50s. The injectable slowly mixes with the target muscles and results in a firmer and younger looking skin. It can cause some sort of discomfort, but numbing ointments can help in reducing the pain. You will have to wait for at least 3 to 7 days to see visible results from your Botox treatment.

It takes about 14 days or 2 weeks for Botox to settle into your muscles and look natural. Hence, be patient. If you aren't happy with the results of your treatment, consult your doctor. The Botox may have shifted and the effect can be corrected. However, you may have to wait a while before this can be done. Repeat treatments should be a gap of at least 3 months apart to maintain the look and yet give you a natural look.
