Surgeries can no doubt create dimples, but they have side-effects as well. So, go for it only if you have no choice.

The dimple surgery isn t a long one. In most places, the dimple surgery is performed in the office of the doctor. It takes only about 20 minutes. It is the same time as that required by a double eyelid surgery. It requires local anesthesia. And more importantly, it is not a painful procedure and is not even time-consuming. The operation may take place with sedation and sometimes even without sedation. If you consult a doctor at a faraway place, then you can do the surgery on the initial day of your consultation.

Dimple surgeries are reversible ones, that is, you may choose to eliminate the dimples whenever you want. With age, if you feel the dimples are losing their shape and are leading to scars or some sort of unwanted appearances you can easily opt for a reversal process. The cheek tissue is released, and the skin which was operated is now separated from the muscle that lies beneath that portion of the skin. Sometimes patients face temporary weakness in their cheeks after surgery so you should think twice before opting for a reversal surgery at an old age.
