Cranberry juice which is unsweetened has been found to kill the bacteria in the urinary tract of women. Keep a check on the color of your urine from time to time to understand whether your fluid uptake is sufficient.

Wearing tight pants during pregnancy leads to sweating of the genital area which in turn promotes the growth of bacteria. So you must always try to keep the genital area clean. A shower is more preferable than a bath in this regard. Also, wear pants that are loose especially during pregnancy. Avoid the bubble baths because they have been reported to cause inflammation of the urethral openings.
