Chlamydia can be transmitted by having vaginal, oral or anal sex. The risk of chlamydia transmission exists both when the male partner ejaculates or does not ejaculate. A past history of chlamydia pushes the person all the more into the risk zone. In case of pregnancy, chlamydia passes on to the baby at birth. Another threat is that chlamydia spreads from one infected region to another. For example, if vagina is affected by chlamydia, it can spread to other areas as well. You should never have unprotected sex.
