This cream contains Clobetasol, Ofloxacin, Ornidazole, Terbinafine as active ingredients. O2 Derm Cream is a combination of corticosteroids, antifungal, and antibiotics, thus works via multiple mechanisms.
Firstly, O2 Derm Cream works as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the metabolism of arachidonic acid by inhibiting phospholipase A2. Secondly, it decreases ergosterol production by disrupting the activity of cytochrome P450, inhibiting the formation of the cell membrane of susceptible fungi like Candida and Microsporum.
