About Soventus Jr Syrup
Soventus syrup is a multi-drug composition containing Ambroxol, Guaifenesin and Terbutaline. It is a active mucolytic agent which works by breaking down the structure of mucus in the lungs and therefore facilitating expectoration. This syrup treats acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by elevated mucus production.
You should not take this medication if:

How does this medication work?
It is an agent that causes diffusion of thick mucus. Uncontrolled quantity of nitric oxide (NO) is related to inflammation and other kinds of disruptions of the functioning of the airways. This syrup inhibits the activation of guanylate cyclase which is nitric oxide dependent. The medicine is also assigned to stimulation via beta-adrenergic receptors of the intracellular adenylyl cyclase. The intracellular adenyl cyclase enzyme causes conversion of adenosine triphosphate into adenosine monophosphate. It also acts as an expectorant which reduces adhesiveness and surface tension of congealed mucous in upper respiratory tract to increase flow of mucous, stimulating and increasing efficiency of the cilia to remove the accumulated mucous.
