This tablet is used in the treatment of various fungal disorders and has been proven to be effective against fungal infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, pityriasis Versicolor and ringworms. This medicine may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

This tablet decreases ergosterol production by disrupting the activity of cytochrome P450, inhibiting the formation of the cell membrane of susceptible fungi like Candida and Microsporum.
