About Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup

Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup helps in treating infections caused by bacteria. This medication works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. It cures infections such as bronchitis (infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea ( a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup only cures bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu. This medication is also available in the form of chewable tablets and capsules.

This medication is usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. Remember to take it at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.

It is important to check all the ingredients before the medication. It can help you avoid having allergic reactions later in case you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Discuss with your doctor if you are taking any drugs or dietary supplements. Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup should be stored in a tightly closed container. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat. Keep them out of the reach of children.

    • Bacterial Meningitis

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup treats meningitis, which is an inflammation of the protective membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. It is caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Neisseria meningitidis.

    • Bacterial Septicemia

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup helps in treating septicemia which is an infection of the blood caused by Staphylococci and Streptococcus pyogenes.

    • Gonococcal Infection

      It is used to cure gonococcal infection which is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

    • Urinary Tract Infection

      It treats infections of the urinary tract caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

    • Pneumonia

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup is used to cure community-acquired pneumonia. It is a common type of lung infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Haemophilus influenzae.

    • Bone And Joint Infections

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup is used to cure bone and joint infections like septic arthritis and osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococci and Streptococci species.

    • Skin And Structure Infection

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup helps in treating Skin and structure infection like cellulitis, wound infection and cutaneous abscess caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.

    What are the contraindications of Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup ?

    • Allergy

      Do not use this medication if the patient has a known allergy to Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup or any other Beta-lactam antibiotics like penicillins and cephalosporins.

    • Lidocaine

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup is contraindicated if Lidocaine is used as a solvent for intravenous injection. Lidocaine can be used as a solvent for Intramuscular injection excluding contraindications.

    • Calcium-containing products

      Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup is contraindicated in neonates who are on calcium-containing intravenous solutions or infusions such as parenteral nutrition because of the risk of precipitation of Brutacef 100 MG Dry Syrup and calcium.
