About E Mal 150Mg Injection

This injection is used for chloroquine-resistant malaria, falciparum malaria. It can also be used for other cerebral malaria cases. This injection kills malarial parasites by interacting with heme.

Some side effects that this injection could cause include headache, general weakness, nausea, leg pain, chills, vomiting, cough, pain at the injection site, body ache, abdominal pain, dizziness, rigors, and watery diarrhea. It could also cause pneumonia, respiratory tract infections and weight gain.

The dosage depends on your medical condition. Stop taking this injection if you experience persistent and severe side effects from the drug. The usual dosage for adults suffering from acute malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum is 150 mg. It should be taken once daily for 3 consecutive days.
