Polidocanol is used for the control, treatment and prevention of varicose veins, bleeding gastroduodenal ulcers, superficial venules, telangiectasia, and esophageal varices. Polidocanol works by damaging the endothelium of blood vessels, thus helping treat the aforementioned diseases quickly and effectively.
