Flax seeds are a superfood without doubt. They are commonly known as 'Alsi' in Hindi. Also known as linseeds, these are small seeds with enormous benefits of flax seeds. There are two types of flax seeds, brown and golden. The nutritional profiles of these two flaxseeds are very similar.  The only exception to this is the yellow flax seed called solin which is very low in omega-3 fatty acids.
