Diff modes of mind and body

Our body mind complex works in two modes. When it is in peace mode we feel relaxed, peaceful. When we are facing any danger it gets converted to war mode. It is fight or flight reflex useful for survival. We feel anxiety, fear or anger in this mode. Our blood supply gets redistributed in this mode. Our big muscles in limbs get more blood while digestive system gets little, heart rate and breathing rate get increased and blood sugar level is also increased. Because of these changes we can jump high or run fast but if we live in this mode for long term it can cause many diseases, lack of concentration, panic attacks and fatigue. We can change our unnecessary war mode by deep breathing, meditation and improving self awareness. It is skill and anyone can master it by regular practice.
