Wondering which are the Facial Cosmetic Surgery Trends for 2020 in India. Find out more

1. Rhinoplasty 
Rhinoplasty or Nose Job still remains the most preferred facial cosmetic surgery procedure for years. 
Rhinoplasty may be performed to change shape of nose, to improve breathing or both. It involves reshaping cartilage, bone and skin of nose.

2. Hair Transplant
Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, known as donor site , to a bald area  known as the recipient site such as scalp, beard, moustache. Hair Transplant may be combined with PRP for improved outcomes.

3. Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty or Eyelid Surgery is a simple and effective procedure for rejuvenation of tired appearance around eyes. Procedure could involve removal of excess skin, fat bags, muscles or in combination to give youthful appearance.

4. Facelift
Facelift is purely a surgical procedure that lifts and tighten the loose facial tissues. It involves removal of excess skin, tightening of facial ligaments and tissue. 
Facelift procedure deals only with lower third of face and neck. It may be combined with other procedures such as Midface Lift, Eyelid Surgery or skin resurfacing.

Note: "Non Surgical Face Lift" does not involve correction of ligaments, underlying muscles, skin and does not achieve true lift of face. Hence Facelift is purely a surgical procedure.

5. Double Chin Removal
A double chin results due to addition of  extra fat layers below the chin. Various factors such as genetics, obesity, alcohol, diet, age etc results in the body to create a double chin .

Treatment includes Surgical Liposuction of Fat which takes less than 30 minutes under local anesthesia to Non Surgical injection of Deoxycholic Acid which might require multiple sessions.

6. Fillers

  • Fillers are a new phenomenon, where a cosmetic surgeon will inject a dermal filler to different areas such as lips, cheek, jowls, under eye region etc to provide desired fullness, volume and shape.
  • Dermal fillers are also known as hyaluronic acid fillers.There are a number of different substances used in the injection.
  • Temporary fillers require redoing every six to nine months, with semi-permanent lasting nearly two years.

7. Anti wrinkle Injection
Aging gracefully is what we all desire which reflects the younger inner you. Wrinkles and sagging skin are common visible sign for aging. Anti wrinkle Injection can be used to soften wrinkles, open pores, non surgical jaw slimming, gummy smile correction. 
Anti wrinkle Injection can be started as early as in 20's as preventive measure.

8. Cosmetic Ear Correction
The surgical repair, restoration alteration of auricle of ear is known as Otoplasty. Prominent ear, Bat ear, otapostasis is an abnormally protruding human ear. They are one of most common abnormalities of Craniofacial Region. It may be present either on one side or both sides.
Prominent ears are generally seen in early childhood or infancy and are most often associated with genetics and can be seen in family or among siblings . Surgery is usually done for cosmetic purposes only as they do not affect any function though they can cause teasing or self consciousness.

9. Chin Augmentation/Genioplasty/Chin Implant
Genioplasty or Chin Augmentation is a corrective jaw surgery which improves contours of the chin, neck and jawline.
Generally, surgery involves changes in existing chin bone to change the size and shape of the chin and achieve a more naturally attractive facial features and profile.
Is Genioplasty better than Chin Implants or Fillers? No doubt about it!

10. 3D Planned & Printed Orthognathic or Jaw Surgery
Jaw surgery also know as Orthognathic Surgery is standard treatment for correction of facial deformities along with functional and cosmetic balance of face performed experts only.
Treatment is long lasting and always has an edge over non surgical procedures .
