Anal fistula
An anal fistula is a chronic inflamed, abnormal communication track between the anal canal and the outer skin of the anus. Commonly this disease develops after spontaneous bursting or operation of an abscess located in this area. It then remains open and discharges pus, even after the abscess has healed.
Cause- anal gland infection is the commonest cause of Fistula In-Ano. Other reasons are tuberculosis, trauma or after operation in and around the anal canal.
