High Blood Pressure Treatment and Sexual Weakness

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Most people who are suffering from high blood pressure have no signs while few of them experience headache, nosebleeds or shortness of breath. You can even have hypertension for years without any symptoms of it. It should be controlled as uncontrolled high blood pressure increases the risk of developing serious health problems such as heart attack and stroke, retinopathy, renal problem etc.

In Ayurveda, hypertension is known as "Raktvat'/ or 'Raktagat Vat' (means where 'vata dosh' has entered 'Rakta dhatu'). The vitiation of Vata and Pitta doshas are the main cause of this disease. Hypertension, according to Ayurveda, is an abnormality of Rakta dhatu (blood) which is popularly known as Shonita dushti (vitiated blood).

Herbal preparations (homemade remedies) which are highly effective in hypertension:

• Arjuna Ksheerapaka – Milk processed with Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna).
• Lashuna Ksheerapaka – Milk processed with garlic.

Herbs used solo or combo:

Ashwagandha, Sarpagandha, 
Amalki, Bala, Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Ash gourd, Jatamansi, Giloy, Gotu kola

Other herbs which have been proved to have antihypertensive property by research works are:

Celery, Bishop’s weed, Ajawain, Carrot, Flaxseed / Linseed, Tomato – Drumstick – Moringa (Shigru),
Tulsi – Bhumi Amla – Pome granate –
Seasame, Wheat bran, – Black plum,
Ginger etc.

Many of above medicines may be taken concurrently with your allopathic medicine. People who are hypertensive for long and on modern anti hypertensive, usually lose sexual power sooner (Both male n female). On the contrary many of the above herbs are Rejuvenating in nature and if u start using ayurvedic antihypertensives either parallel to your current modern regime or switch to pure ayurveda in phased manner, you will notice how Rejuvenation of sex comes back. However it's not overnight action but is conquered gradually - but definately.
