How Cavities Is Formed?
Dr. Hetal ChhedaDentist • 15 Years Exp.BDS, Certificate of Speciality Training In Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics, Advanced Certificate Course In Aesthetic Dentistry
It begins when bacteria inflicts damage on the hard surface of the tooth and destruction will spread in the deeper layer if left unchecked. It happens when sugars aren't cleaned off your teeth, bacteria feeds on them and produces acid. Acids wear away the first layer of tooth (enamel) and spreads in more deeper layer eventually causing decay and cavity.
