Microneedling Radiofrequency For Acne Scar Treatment
Acne damages the normal tissue (collagen) of your skin, if left untreated for long. This shows on your skin in the form of acne sears.
The treatments stimulate the skin to form new collagen that are the building blocks of the skin. This gradually fills up the depressed scar from beneath, giving a smoother skin above.
Safe technologies used to reduce acne scars -
Micro needling radio frequency (rf) -
This is a skin resurfacing procedure, which utilizes thin needles to create microscopic injuries in the skin, allowing new collagen formation, as well as creating channels for topical solutions to penetrate deeper into the skin and work more effectively. The new collagen leads to shrinkage and tightening of skin, thus reduced appearance of acne scars.
Other treatments -
Various other treatments are also used for post acne facial rejuvenation, such asderma rollers. Mesotherapy and medical grade peels.
Pain factor -
An anesthetic or numbing cream is applied to the treatment area an hour prior to the procedure making it pretty comfortable.
Sessions required -
Approximately 3-6 sessions, scheduled at once a month interval, are required. However, the total number of sessions may increasedepending upon the depth of the scars.
Possible side effects -
Acne scar treatments, if done by a trained professional using good quality machines, are very safe and effective.
Precautions before and after the procedure
