I am Dr Bhupesh Kumar, Neurologist. Aaj hum baat karne wale hain migraine headaches ki. Migraine headaches kya hote hain? Basically migraine headaches are very classical type of chronic headaches jo sab logo ko hota hai, kisi bhi type se ho sakta hai. Ye headache basically trigger pe start hota hai, koi na koi iska trigger point hota hai; kabhi aap ko tension ho rahi hai to ye headache start ho gaya, kabhi aapne kuch galat kha liya ya apne excessive sharab pee li ya smoking zada karli; in cheezo ki vajah se apko ye headache start hota hai migraine ka. Iske alawa bhi bahut sare iske kaaran ho skte hai but ye kuch specific kaaran hain jinki vajah se migraine headache start hota hai.

Migraine basically koi aisa ganda headache nahi hai, koi khatarnak bimari nahi hai, it's a complex brain headache disorder. Ek disorder mana jata hai isko, disease nahi hai. Na he ye chua-chuth se failti hai na he kisi physical contact se failti hai. So ghabraiye mat, agar aap migraine ke patient hai to. Sabse pehle agar apko migraine hora hai, try to maintain a diary isko migraine diary bulaya jata hai. Migraine basically unilateral pain hote hain ek side pe hota hai dimag ke ya dono side pe bhi ho sakta hai zaroori nahi hai or do prakar ke migraine hote hain: migraine with aura and migraine without Aura.

With aura mein aapko flashing lights nazar aati hai jab apka migraine start hone vala hota hai, ye ek indication hoti hai ke apke upar migraine ka attack aane vala hai. Without aura me aisa kuch nahi hota hai. Dono migraines me normally zadatar ulti jaisi feeling hoti hai jisko aap nausea ya vomiting ke naam se bhi jante hai, us jaisi feeling agar apko hoti hai to probably ye migraine ka attack he hai. Jab aap aisa sochenge, aisa karenge to apka migraine apne aap theek hojaenge or trigger points ke basis pe bhi aap apne migraine ko theek kar sakte hai. Iske alawa you can also try meditation, subah aap uth ke meditation kariye, 20-30 minute ki exercise kijiye or healthy khana khaiye or stress ko door rakhiye. Avoid smoking, avoid drinking; that will help your migraine to be in check and in under control.
