To ensure and support healthy nail development, 400-500 mcg of folic acid should be consumed daily.

Vitamin A plays an essential role when it comes to growing nails. It is essential for the proper functioning of the tissues, bones, teeth, and nails. It is also a well-known antioxidant. This guarantees that harmful poisons are removed from the body. Vitamin A is essential for the proper functioning of the tissues, bones, teeth, and nails. It is also present in non-vegan and meat products such as eggs, liver, and milk.

In a mixing dish, combine 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Microwave the solution for 20 seconds before soaking your nails for 10 minutes.

Another alternative is to massage a piece of lemon on your nails for about five minutes before cleaning them with lukewarm water.

Heat up some extra virgin coconut oil according to the growth of your nail in a bowl and massage it into your nails and fingertips before going to bed.

2. Orange do-it-yourself remedy

Step 1:

Finely grate some orange zest and squeeze out some amount of fresh orange juice according to the growth of your nails. 

Normal nails:

1 tablespoon fresh orange juice and 2 tablespoons grated orange zest in a bowl

After this, you can add a tablespoon of olive oil or vaseline/ petroleum jelly and a tablespoon of heated coconut oil to the preceding mixture and thoroughly combine (again, take the amount according to the growth of your nail. This amount is mentioned according to the normal size of your nails). Wash your hands to eliminate dirt (You can also scrub your hand for this process), then put your fingertips into your nail growth serum (dip it in cotton pads for better results). Allow them to soak in this solution for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Then, rinse off the nail serum and apply moisturizing hand cream.

3. Vaseline do-it-yourself remedy

This simple cure will firm and preserve your nails, preventing future brittleness and breaking.

You'll need:

  • Vaseline/ petroleum jelly

Method:

Step 1:

Wash and scrub your hands before applying vaseline to your whole nail bed.

Step 2:

ow rub it in for at least 3-5 minutes and let it soak thoroughly. For optimal results, leave it on overnight and wash it off the next morning.

4.  Make Your Own Coconut Oil

This ultra-nourishing solution gives the nails the TLC they need to develop.

You'll need:

Honey Rosemary Coconut Oil Method:

Step 1:

Combine 1/4 cup organic coconut oil, 1/4 cup honey, and 4 drops of rosemary essential oil in a mixing basin.

Step 2:

Microwave the mixture for around 20 seconds. Soak it when it has cooled.
