Urine sugar is NOT a reliable method of diagnosing or managing Diabetes. There are many non-diabetic people with normal blood sugars, but showing sugar in the urine. Conversely, there are diabetics with very high blood sugars but absolutely no sugar in the urine.
The best way of diagnosing diabetes is by doing FBS, 2 hour PPBS and HbA1c.
