Vegan Wholesome Bean Spread Recipe
Lower your cholesterol when you snack and keep your blood sugar stable with this spread
Ingredients:
2 cups of leftover beans or lentils
1 stalk of a green onion: finely chopped
2 stalks of celery: finely chopped
Some parsley: finely chopped
1 tbs lemon juice
Sea salt to taste
1/4 cup roasted sesame seeds (or any other seed)
Method:
1.) make sure the beans do not have too much water (so if it is a dal, keep some water to blend since we are making a paste.
2.) you can use a fork to mash the ingredients together or put it in a blender to mix it well.
3.) use it on breads or rotis or crackers
Enjoy!
