What is Flatfeet?

The absence of an arch is known as flatfeet. It allows your entire foot to touch the floor when you stand up. All children are born with flat feet. After the age of three, children begin to develop an arch. It is also known as Fallen Arches.

Symptoms of Flatfeet-

  • Foot pain, particularly in the heel or arch area
  • Difficulty standing on tiptoe
  • Swelling along the inside of the ankle 

Causes of Flatfeet-

  • Hererditary
  • Abnormal foot development, either due to genetics or cerebral palsy
