Hello!

I am Dr. Sunita Verma obstetrician and Gynecologist. I am practicing in Dwarka. Sector 12-A, Aastha Medi Care.

Today I want to speak something about effective, advanced women age and the reproductive outcome of the women. Nowadays the rate of infertility is on the rise. Especially in urban area and in many cases the main factor is advanced maternal age. The biological clock doesn’t stop for your studies or for career making or money security because the fertility of a woman decreases after she reaches the age of 30 years. So it’s better to plan pregnancy in the early years. Best time is between 25 to 30 years. Rather than delaying it till 35 and on. Because with the increasing age it has been seen that because of decreased aware and capacity to produce good quality eggs. The infertility rate increases and similarly it leads to many hormonal complications like PCOD and difficulty in caring a pregnancy or facing material complications during pregnancy and also increase rate of the cesarean section rather than normal deliveries. So I want to make a point through this medium that women should plan pregnancy when they are a younger age rather than delaying for, delaying for later age.

Thank you so much.
