It may be a case of delayed speech and language due to hearing impairment. Consult an audiologist & speech pathologist asap for the detailed evaluation and treatment.

If it is mild conductive hearing loss you would be able to hear sounds above 40db. That means you can hear sounds in left ear if it is slightly loud. Any good ent surgeo ...read full answer

Undergo pure tone audiometry and tympanometry to know more about type and degree of hearing loss. Treatment depends on the test results.

You need to undergo some evaluations to know the actual cause. Please speak to an ENT specialist or neurologist. You may have to undergo audiometry and MRI.
