I graduated from Calcutta National Medical College with an MBBS. I obtained my DNB in Medicine from the reputed Christian Medical College in Vellore after completing my MBBS. I spent a year working under Prof. Debasish Danda's direction in the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at CMC Vellore after receiving my postgraduate degree in medicine. I was subsequently accepted into the DM Rheumatology program at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, one of the nation's top medical schools.
