Along with the treatment, a healthy food is always crucial to the healing process. It aids in reducing the disease's effects. Since in Epididymitis, we observe inflammation so we must choose anti-inflammatory foods. For best results in reducing the negative consequences of the illness, the food should always be nutritious and well-balanced. Some foods may be added to the list to cut down the disease effects-
- Seasonal fruits
- Dry fruits and nuts
- Green leafy vegetables
- Proper hydration
- Low-fat dairy products, etc.
These meals may strengthen the immune system, and a healthy immune system can fend against disease. Our eating habits have a substantial impact on our lifestyle. Therefore, we must be vigilant in choosing our daily meals. We must ignore inflammatory foods, such as-
- Mustard
- Sugar
- Fried foods
- Alcohol
- Smoking
- Onion
- Spicy pepper, etc.
If we do not cut out these foods from our everyday diet, it will flare up the symptoms. We should also take a doctor’s consent before starting any diet.

Food Items To Limit
- Decrease any and all hydrogenated, trans fats, deep-fried foods, margarine, fast foods, artificial sweeteners.
- Decrease sugar, sweets, white flour products, processed foods.
- Avoid tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, soda pop.
Do's And Dont's
Do's & Don'ts:
- Eating as more sources of omega–3 fats as possible, like fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, herring, and sardines), canola oil, fish oil, flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds and walnuts
- Eating foods that contains high fiber, including plenty of fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, and nuts
- Choosing organic produce, such as meat, and milk when possible
- Limiting saturated fat by eating mostly plant–based foods
- Selecting lean meats, and choosing low fat dairy products.
Food Items You Can Easily Consume
- Foods which reduce Inflammation : spinach, blueberries, strawberries and other flavonoid-rich foods.
- Foods rich in vitamin C : kiwi, orange, watermelon, lemon, grapefruit, bitter melon and tomatoes.
- Drink 6-8 cups of purified water daily hydrates body and brain cells and flushes toxins (whether thirsty or not!).
- Increase fresh, raw fruits and veggies (organic when possible).
- Consider fresh juicing.
- Consume plenty of fresh, raw, unroasted pumpkin seeds.
- Consider taking berry seeds complex, 1-2 tablets after each meal.
- Drink organic cranberry juice.
