Diet Chart For ovarian cyst

Last Updated: Sep 04, 2024

About

Topic Image

Generally, Ovarian cysts are harmless, but sometimes they become so large that they rupture and cause damage to the ovary. There are various medical treatments for diagnosing the cyst. However, natural therapies might help to cure the same. The ovarian cyst treatment diet should include green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, cabbage, eggplant, carrots, and brussels sprouts should be consumed in larger quantities. Handful of nuts, watermelon, oranges, guavas, papaya, pear and apricots are most important components of the Ovarian cyst diet. Eat foods rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids because they help control hormone disruptions as well as insulin resistance. Stick to organic foods as much as possible as pesticides can disrupt hormone balances.

Ovarian cyst Diet should exclude food rich in carbohydrates, junk food, toxic and acidic foods as they cause hormonal imbalance and weaken the immune system. Diet including sugar and less fresh vegetables could prevent the removal of toxins thereby causing ovarian cysts. Over cooked and baked vegetables should be avoided. Reduce intake of alcohol as it can elevate estrogen levels. Eat fewer wheat products because wheat contains phytic acid which binds minerals like magnesium and zinc, both of which are essential for hormone balance and preventing cramps.
