Decolic 10 Mg/40 Mg Suspension

This is a combination medication which has Dicyclomine and Simethicone as active ingredients. An antispasmodic, this medication is used for the treatment of a certain type of intestinal problem called irritable bowels syndrome. It reduces the symptoms of intestinal and stomach cramping. This medication works by slowing down the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the stomach and intestine muscles.

The medication is to be taken by mouth, with or without food as instructed by your doctor, usually 4 times a day. The dosage is based on your age, medical condition, and your response to the medicine. Your doctor may direct you to start this medication at a low dose and gradually increase your dose to decrease the risk of side effects.
