Dr Anil Abrol is a post graduate in Internal Medicine & an Ex-Registrar, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Rheumatology services). Subsequently, he pursued a Fellowship in Rheumatology and also worked in Department of Rheumatology at Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospita, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. He is a Fellow of Academy of General Education (FAGE), European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) and a member of Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA). He has a significant contribution to academics and research work. He has many International and National research papers in Rheumatology and a Chapter in a book to his credit. He has been a co-investigator in drug trials such as Infliximab bio similar and Etanercept bio similar. Dr Abrol has worked in state-of-art Rheumatology facilities & attained expertise in management of rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis/ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, SLE, Sjogren’s Syndrome, scleroderma, Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis, Vasculitides (eg Wegener’s granulomatosis, polyarteritis nodosa), and other disorders of joint/adjacent tissues such as osteoarthritis, crystal associated arthropathies, fibromyalgia etc. He underwent specialized training in administration of biological drugs viz. Infliximab, Etanercept, Rituximab etc. He is well versed with synovial joint aspirations, soft tissue, intra-articular injections and rehabilitation of rheumatology patients.
