She has a avm in brain . hospital doctors did GAMMA KNIFE SURGERY but issue is this is cancer or other disease. Someone said this is cancer but still I am confusion can you please let me know. In feature is there any problem regarding this avm. Thanks in advance .I am awaiting for your response.

AVM is not cancer. It is a kind of defect in the blood vessels of the brain. There is a abnormal connection between artery and veins which causes it to bulge .rarely it can rupture. Nowadaya gamma knife is being used to treat AVM and is fairly good with minimal chances of complications. She needs to be on regular follow up though.
