Hello doctors, My parents have looked an alliance for me. But they guy is 6 years elder than me. Is it good to proceed for the marriage. Does my decision towards acceptance is correct? I am worried about the age gap thinking whether it will affect the child. Kindly help with my query doctor please.

Six years gap is not too much . It won't interfere with fertility.

Dear user. I understand. This is actually wrong way of thinking. I always suggest there should be at least 5 years difference between husband and wife. One factor is respect and second is age related maturity. Most important is menopausal problems and fallout thereafter. I suggest you to ignore the age difference and go ahead with marriage. Take care.
