Hi Lybrate-user, TB quantiferon positivity does not necessarily mean you have Tuberculosis disease. It can be sign of something called latent infection where you will be positive for TB screening tests like quantiferon and mantoux but not necessarily have the disease. Whether you have TB or not depends on if you have symptoms of TB like fever, cough, loss of weight, loss of appetite, night sweats. Chest radiograph and sputum testing are required to confirm the same.
