Sir, external injury to forehead is much important with respect to injury inside the cranium and not externally to forehead. External injury may be treated with application of soframycin if trivial. Main concern is brain injury. Watch for symptoms such as vomiting, convulsions, unconsciousness after fall. If any of these are visible, visit pediatrician 24-48 hours observation may be needed. Anyway it is worthwhile getting clinically examined by pediatrician, child's health is of paramount importantance.
