I had severe pain at the root of penis, irritation during urination and some blood drops came out after urination sometimes. Because of it my penis used to be always shrinked and no erection was there. I consulted many doctors but after 4 years when I am posted to hyderabad. I consulted 2 doctors here and they gave me medicines for infection. It's been 2 days since my medicine course is completed. Although I am better now. The penis sensitivity and That much erection is still not there. Does it take sometime to become normal. Also there is some tingling sensation at the root of penis because of which ejaculation occurs way before it should be.

Dear user. PENILE PAIN could be due to Infections or inflammation of the bladder or prostate can also result in penile pain. ... Trauma, persistent erection (priapism), cancers, and Peyronie's disease (the development of scar tissue within the penis) are other causes. Sickle cell anemia may cause priapism due to blockages of small blood vessels in the penis. I suggest you to consult a doctor for physical investigation. Take care.
