Hello lybrate-user thanks for your query. Well condition is curable or not depends mostly on damage that has already been done by tobacco. But in most of the cases condition becomes normal once you cease the habit of chewing tobacco and take good diet and maintain the health of your oral cavity. The condition that you are telling suggest that you might be suffering from xerostomia in which there is decreased salivary flow. So stop tobacco eat proper diet and visit near by dentist for further Treatment. Thanks and regards.
