I am just 13 years old and found some reddish chunks in my poo. I feel worried, about that it can be a cancer or results of internal bleeding in stomach. Please help me.

Stool color is generally influenced by what you eat as well as by the amount of bile ? a yellow-green fluid that digests fats ? in your stool. As bile pigments travel through your gastrointestinal tract, they are chemically altered by enzymes, changing the pigments from green to brown. Red food coloring, beets, cranberries, tomato juice or soup, red gelatin or drink mixes can cause stool to be bright red colored. If you are experiencing any other associated symptom you should see a gastroenterologist.
