Hi lybrate-user, first you have to understand how STD happen. They can happen either due to sexual contact with an infected person, sharing needles with an infected person, if you have had a sexual contact with an infected person or by skin to skin contact with an infected person. Now since you did not have intercourse, the only way you can get STD is through skin to skin contact. If more than 2 weeks have passed since the incident and you have not got any rashes, sores etc, then you have SAFE. Please do not worry. It is quite natural for you to feel bad for your lover and family. It is very natural for humans to make mistakes, but make a resolve to yourself not to be do this again. Take care of your family. Hope this helped.
