I heard that abstinence / lack of orgasm can lead to hormonal imbalances (overproduction of estrogens etc.), that can cause various health problems (breast nodules, cysts, fibroma etc.). Is this accurate, or just a myth? I also read on internet that oxytocin is a wonder for breast health. Women who not have sexual activity or doesn't masturbate have a higher risk for breast cancer, because oxytocin inhibits cancerous cells. It is true? I am asexual and I have 40 years old and I am a virgin.

Hello Breast cancer is associated with estrogen. So female who have early menarche or late menopause are at higher risk. It is not associated with abstinence/sex/masturbation. However nulliparous women (women who have no kids) are at a higher risk of cancer than multiparous women. Lactation&breast feeding are protective against breast cancer. If you are worried about breast cancer you can do the following: 1 self breast examination once every month. 2 clinical examination by doctor on yearly basis. 3 mammography as advised by your doctor consult me for further queries.
