If given proper coverage i.e. All booster taken than tetanus vacine given (stored ideally) gives coverage for 10 years.

booster is required at 16 years if given childhood vaccination is administered. repeat vaccinations in adult life is only required. If there is history of suspected exposure to tetanus bacteria , ATS or anti tetanus serum is administered
