Once I had got anal fissure due to severe hard stool. I contact a colorectal surgeon who told that as you had got fissure one-time so it can easily reoccur after another little hard stool and he also told that if LIS surgery done then anal fissure will not come again if stool becomes hard. Is it true? Or he told this only for money? I want second opinion. Pls help in details.

LIS surgery help in healing fissure, but I advise you to keep your stool soft by taking plenty of fluids orally and high fibre diet, fissure usually dont reccur after surgery, but sometimes it may.
