I am 40 years age and have been diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Fatty liver Disease and the the gastroenterologist is giving me Heptral tablets after consuming the tablets I am feeling lot of drowsiness and body pain. He is suggesting me that for my rest of life I have to depend on the same medicine. My SGOT is 57 U/L, SGPT is 72 U/L and Gama GT is 56 U/L. Your liver condition is not poor, these tablet last will help reduce damage, but the most important treatment for fatty liver is exercise and a diet change with reduced sugar, sweets and fat. If you have fat around your belly you will have to loose weight with diet and exercise. That is the only permanent solution. Once that happens you may not need any tablets.
