HIV Rapid test generally look for presence of HIV antibodies and a fourth generation HIV Rapid test also test for HIV antigen besides antibodies and result is shortly given in around twenty minutes. It is highly sensitive and specific test and gives accurate results. If the test has been undertaken after the three months of last exposure, the result is quite accurate.
