I have been prescribed betacap 10 mg for chronic migraine. Found out that it has a chemical called flunarizine which has a direct side effect of weight gain. After consuming tablet for 4 months roughly I am seeing weight gain of 6 kgs. Any thoughts on this?

it does cause minor weight gain but not to that extent. there could be other factors in your case . so might need more hormonal testing. also you would need to be good diet and exercise
