Hi, A month back I've done sphincterotomy for fissure in ano still now no results found even though 10%. Following his guidance sits bath, stool softener. I met my surgeon who had did sphincterotomy for fissure in ano for and he just saying healing of the wound time takes. And prescribed 1.HIFANAEC 2.GLEEVO 500 mg 3.Cremaffin syrup I'm feeling frequently bowel moment with pain and discomfort. Still month left no result. Normally how long takes healing of the wound? What should I do please help me? Do I need change surgeon?

Hi lybrate-user kindly bear on. Its takes a couple of month to get back to work. Wel fissure in ano is a dificult to treat situan and you need great will n life style modificn to avoid. No need to chng yur surgeon have faith on him. Wel there is no harm in taking a second opinion.
