My husband has high blood pressure readings. Over 160/100. He is 43, and weighs 90 kg. For the past 40 days, he has been taking medicine to lower the BP (Prolomet XL. But all weekly readings are still hovering in the range of 150/100 to 165/115. What could be the reason? Is it necessary to take this medicine, or can this situation be managed otherwise? Please advise.
