Hello there. It is very important to be mentally and physically fit before planning a pregnancy. You should try and quit smoking as it does effect the quality of sperms. Tell your wife to get her complete blood profile, TSH and Blood sugar done, So that if there is any problem it can be corrected in advance. You are planning for pregnancy for next year. For healthy sperms and eggs, take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take plenty of water to detoxify body. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet.
