lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. TSH 31.9 mU/L is too high and needs to be urgently brought down to around 2 mU/L. The range recommended for varioud trimesters is as follows: 1st Trimester: 0.1 to 2.5 mU/L, 2nd Trimester: 0.2 to 3 .0 mU/l & 3rd Trimester: 0.3 to 3 mU/L. Therefore it is best to maintain it around 2 mU/L during the pregnancy. If that is done, it will ensure proper development of fetus, as well as ensures desired outcome of pregnancy. Plus you should check TSH every 4 weeks to see if the level of TSH is maintained in that range.
