I am 27 year male. While I was playing cricket I fell and now I have longitudinal meniscus tear. MRI report wordings: Flipped lateral meniscus tear as described below. Complete peripheral vertical longitudinal tear of the posterior horn and the body of the lateral meniscus has allowed the vast majority of the posterior horn to flip into the intercondylar notch and the body to flip directly posterior to a truncated anterior horn. There is a resultant ghost meniscus sign posteriorly with only a tiny remnant of peripheral meniscus and the meniscopopliteal fascicles evident. So here should I go for surgery? Is there any natural method of healing? I heard about PRP injections, will this heal Meniscus tear?
