Dear lybrateuser, - There is no particular food for low blood pressure, however the following measures may help, - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water - sprinkle salt on your meals - do regular exercise, keep leg end raised while sitting & sleeping by 4-6 inches - for weight loss follow some tips - reduce carbohydrates & increase intake of proteins, include a protein food in each of your meals, have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals - have more of fibre containing foods like fruits, vegetables, have whole grains instead of refined ones, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas, nuts, have low fat milk & dairy products, healthy fats such as in olive or canola or sunflower oil, avocados, seafood - drink water half an hour before meals or whenever required as it will reduce the food intake - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time - do regular exercise like walking daily, also do yoga & deep breathing to reduce weight & to keep fit.
