Hi, Paediatric doctor prescribed 2 no's "Moxycare" Dry syrup (amoxicillin and potassium Clavulanate oral suspension IP) for my son along with some cough syrup and Suspension. My concern is that first Moxycare was white milky in colour after shaking with sterile water which my son consumed. But the second one appeared very dark brownish colour after shaking. But this I shake it much more. I am worried whether there can be any harmful chemical reaction due to more shaking. Kindly advice.

Yes... Better purchase another one... As any change of color is not good... Even on the labels it is written..

Do not use if there is colour change other reconstituted medicine. Always keep moxyclav or augmentun in the refrigerator after reconstitution and shake gently.
